Sewn in bra cups

Sorry for the odd question. Anyone have cups added during alterations? What do yours look like? Is this normal? Should I be able to see them when looking down towards my bust? Jw! Thanks for the help!Sewn in bra cups 1

I had cups sewn into mine but they are a bit lower down. My seamstress had me put the cups in where I wanted them and after everything was "adjusted" where needed she pinned them in so she knew where to sew when she did the alterations. Also my dress is not strapless so if yours is strapless maybe the cups are a little higher?

Mine didn’t look like that but mine were smaller and more for lift. They were way lower down in my dress too.

That’s how my DB cups looked. I can clip the thread off for the cups to come off if I wanted to. I think it’s just the laziness of DB.

Yep, my DB cups look like that. I am highly disappointed with their alterations department.

Smh... Even a price tag is sewn better than that. I would suggest to bring it back and ask to redo it.

Yes! They're so high they do nothing with lift. Is this really a David's Bridal thing then? What a lousy job! I freaked out on corporate for a number of things, but then I felt bad about the cups because maybe it was petty and I just didn't know what to expect? Glad to hear opinions though! I'm shocked they didn't give an option for a push up type cup

It's so crappy being strapless. I love the look when it's "right", but I should not be able to see this pad. Sounds like you had a great seamstress! Someone who cares about your comfort and appearance!

Oh no, I think they need to redo it a little lower. If you get pictures at an angle you will definitely be able to see the cups
