I have 3 dresses I'm changing into,"don't ask "😅. Do you normally take your 1st dance in your wedding dress or reception dress??? Help 👰💍

I would say it is truly up to you! Some brides take their wedding gown off right after the ceremony. Some may change halfway through the reception! There's really no specific rule or way to go about this! It's all up to you

I would consider how easy it is to dance in your wedding dress and the type of dance you plan to do. For my first wedding we danced a lot of salsa because he was a salsa DJ and that is how we met. I had to change into a shorter dress for our first dance so I could dance salsa and not trip over my dress.
