Serving Boxed Wine

Any, on April 1, 2019 at 5:00 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6

I may have looked over this in the forums, but can't seem to find any discussion on serving boxed wine at the weddings. Like actually serving it. I don't mind using boxed wine, there are actually a few i like, but i don't want my guests to see the boxes. Any creative ideas on how to serve it? Thanks!

I'm so glad you asked this! i've been thinking about serving boxed myself! Our wedding is pretty casual and i'm not sure how many will actually drink wine, so if there is any left it'll come home with us. You could decorate the boxes with wedding wrapping paper, our keep them behind a counter low enough to keep them from being seen. i'm looking forward to some of the ideasSmiley heart

Put it in glass decanters or carafes? You should be able to find them fairly inexpensive.

    Something like this

What about something like this? Not sure if pumpkins are ready by early September, or if you’re going with a fall decor at all, but it’s the first thing I thought of!

I used to work at a wine bar and our happy hour wine was served out of mini wine barrels that had a spout on one end. The inside was empty and you just put the bag of wine in there. I don’t know the exact brand but they look like these

Here is a link to one I found. I would check reviews though because I just looked this up in 5 seconds haha

I would do this. It's cute and it would look like you spent some money for the wine. Most people don't know what they're drinking anyway

I’m not a fan of wine but my family swears by some boxed wine, so I’ll let them suggest which box wines they want and probably just buy a bunch of those if they end up being cheaper than bottles. I don’t care if my guests see the box, since I’m not the one who suggested we buy it, it was really the guests! Also, if someone let’s boxed wine at your wedding impact their relationship with you.... then ya know that’s ridiculous.
