Hello!! My wedding colors are burgundy and olive green. We are getting married in Friday the 13th, and we’ve decided to do a masquerade themed wedding! we will also be using black, gold, a darker green, and a soft salmon color to accent our main colors. If anyone has any ideas that we can incorporate for a masquerade themed wedding, please share!

A fun idea might be to send masquerade masks as part of your invitations! Invitations set the tone for your wedding, and that would be a unique and exciting way to hint to guests what’s to come!

And if you wanted to incorporate little touches of Friday the 13th, it would be easy since the color schemes are basically the same. You could have a F13 grooms cake, props for a photobooth, “Til Death” cake topper or sign, or even a Jason cameo at the reception!

No spooks for my wedding here! I’m thinking maybe some neutral colors or match the fall leaf colors.

I'm not really using fall colors for my wedding, I'm having a rustic wedding and will be using a lot of dark greens, and burgundy colors but I'm thinking of having pumpkin pie and different fall pies as dessert instead of a donut wall, which was my initial idea

View Quoted Comment Oh, we are definitely asking the guests to dress accordingly. And we’re incorporating the masquerade theme in the decor as well! We are having mini masks with the guests names and table numbers, we are having candelabra style centerpieces with masks in the flowers, and we’ll have tiny masks on the napkin rings too! Also, there will be lots of crystals and beads in the decor.

I think dark green and burgundy fall into the category of "Autumn colors". Will you be having a neutral accent color(s) like gold, cream, etc.?

The pumpkin pie idea is a great one! Not only is it a perfect dessert for the time of year and ties in perfectly with the rustic theme, but it is also a super affordable option!

View Quoted Comment Yes, we're actually going to have some cream colored flowers and gold dinosaurs within the table greenery and tiny gold dinosaurs on our wedding favors! My fiance loves dinosaurs so we wanted to incorporate them in our wedding, besides just our wedding rings which will have dinosaur bones and meteorite in them lol

Our colors are navy, gold and burnt orange. Our linens will be ivory with navy table runners and burnt orange napkins. The picture below is a concept for our ceremony setup.
