September Honeymoon Suggestions

Tough to travel anywhere on the east coast during that time period due to hurricane season, as I'm sure you're aware. I'm getting married Sept. 28th, and we are honeymooning in Aruba because they aren't effected by the season. As PP suggested, the west coast might be your best bet!

What about Bermuda? I know it's not U.S. but it's a pretty quick flight and hurricanes are less of an issue. If not, agree with the previous poster that So. Cal seems like a good option for beaches and no hurricanes!

Hawaii would be perfect. It is still in the U.S. and on the beach. September is a great time to go as well. The first time I went to Maui was in September. My DH and I went back to Maui for our honeymoon in the 2nd week of October which also a great time of the year.

We are honeymooning in Charleston, SC. It is such a romantic place and has very pretty beaches!

I’m also getting married on Sept 7! We are actually thinking of Vegas (obviously not near the water, lol). We want to go somewhere we can just chill and have fun and not feel as though we are missing out/wasting our opportunity if we aren’t sightseeing all day everyday, which we would if we went somewhere out of the country or something. We are hoping to do a big trip every couple of years for our anniversary anyway.

I used to live in Florida, but in Reddick, so the closest beach was an hour and a half away. I live right on the coast in Maine now though. I definitely get the appeal. I crave the ocean, but neither of us are big beach bums so it wasn’t too important for our honeymoon (though we were initially planning on going to the Caribbean).

We're getting married Sept 28th - We're going to Utah for our honeymoon. We're starting in Salt Lake City and visiting all 5 National Parks - and then ending in Vegas! Where are you staying in Vegas? (so many options!)
