September Couples in Wisconsin

Feeling good about where we are at in the planning process! All vendors are booked, timeline is near finalization, and the design is coming together nicely. Just sent out Save the Dates! Next up are details meetings with our florist and venue. We’re getting married in the Shorewood neighborhood of Milwaukee.

I'm getting married in Wausau on September 22nd. So far we have the officiant, venue, rentals, band and caterer booked! STD's are sent out and I'm working on designing invites. My bridesmaids and myself have our dresses ordered and all of the guys already had their suits.

Things I'm still trying to figure out are decorations and transportation. A friend of mine has a flower and vegetable farm so she is growing flowers for me but we still have to figure out arrangements, bouquets, etc. If anyone has tips regarding floral arrangement let me know!

That's fantastic! I looked in to attempting floral arrangements myself, but opted to go with fake flowers instead, so I will be no help there. But that's wonderful that she's doing that for you! Way to be on top of everything!

We're having a Friday wedding too, but I think we have most of our vendors booked. I just need to look into hotel blocks, possible transportation, and chair rentals, and that should get our big stuff out of the way.

Getting married on the 15th in baraboo! All the major vendors booked! I’m still trying to figure out transportation and hotels right now. Save the dates just went out

I've started looking at local salons and seeing if I have any friends who could recommend a place. That might be something to look into!

Yea your getting married on my birthday!!

We are an older couple, I'm 45 he is 50 and here are our wedding day details.

We are getting married in Waukesha, WI.

Our wedding date is Sunday 9/2/18 and we have all vendors booked.

My amazing sister is my MOH and doing all flowers as well.

Our DJ is our best friend and Best Man.

FH older sister is Officiating the ceremony.

He has 3 kids I have 1 and all the kids are between 22 and 26 and all are super excited that we are finally getting our chance to be together (long story). We have known each other for almost 17 years but we were both in other relationships when we met, and we played softball together and our 2 families hung out together on weekends. We knew not long after we met how we truly felt about each other but both put aside our feeling for each other since we already had families of our own and did not want to hurt people but remained friends and lost touch for a while, but 2 years ago both our lives were different and we were both free to see if we still felt the same and we went out on a date and knew right away that our feelings had not gone away but actually got stronger and told all our kids and they all said "About damn time" Lol seriously it was awesome and now we are 165 days away from our wedding day and we can not wait. We feel that this is going to be a huge party lol.

September 22 in Madison. Neither of us are from Wisconsin but Chicago is too expensive. @Jaryn my venue is also still being built also so figuring our decor has been hard for me too, but it sounds like I may be super behind in other things so I am gonna put that on the back burner. Has anyone ever heard of getting your deposit back from hair/makeup if you hate it?

Yay for September brides! Here's to hoping weather is beautiful for us all! Mine is September 29th in Menasha.

I have the caterer, venue, officiant, hair (still need makeup), photographer, dress, DJ all set.

We aren't having a bridal party so no need for much of flowers. I'm not a flower kinda gal, so i'm opting for fake. So gotta figure the bouquets and such still. Looking around for centerpieces, signs, etc. All that small stuff. Groom wants to buy a suit since he can wear it for other occasions too. Think that's pretty much it

9/22 just outside Madison in Edgerton. We have all of our major vendors book and now it's just details (finalizing readings, the exact catering menu, song lists for the DJ, etc.) and getting the bridal party to order their outfits.

Hopefully there's lots of fall leaves for our pictures too!

I've found some beautiful sola wood flower bouquets on Etsy, if that's something you wanted to go toward. My friend had them for her wedding!
