September Brides, outdoor reception??

I am having an outdoor wedding on September 18th in Missouri..our weather is so unpredictable but I'm taking the chance. My cousin just recently got married at the end of September and the weather is beautiful towards the end. I think you should risk it if you want an outdoor wedding.

Plus, apparently it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day anyway

ETA: I HIGHLY recommend tents or something just in case.

Outdoor ceremony in se Minnesota. Last year it was really nice out. We will be having our ceremony and reception in the same spot if it decides to crap on us.

I was born in that area (Whitefish), and I think a lot depends on elevation as well. I would strongly suggest that you look for a place that has an indoor backup plan that will equally fulfill your vision for your wedding if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Hi! We're getting married near Bozeman, MT September 2017. We're planning for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception at the same venue. If it rains, we can shift to ceremony and reception indoors.
