September Bride

My time is coming up to get married. Just wanted to get opinions of what everyone has done recently during their weddings/receptions.

Depending on your budget, some have had photo booths. I’ve seen horse shoes. Coordinate with your DJ & ask them for ideas.

Are you looking for suggestions? Like activities for during the reception? Or the ceremony? Or do you want coronavirus related guidance? I don't understand the question, if there is one.

If covid related we have to wear masks at the reception not at the ceremony.. tables will be spread a little further apart but that’s the only guidance thank god. Smaller type wedding about 60 people which was the original plan. Praying the rest of the next 5wks goes smoothly but gosh knows !

I'm September too! 😊 also trying to tack down any last minute things we may need to worry about now so that everything goes smoothly. Good luck and congrats!

I’m going to my cousin’s on Saturday. They had to postpone from May. I’ll let you know how they host theirs regarding pandemic things, but I know they were already planning for it to be outdoors at the bride’s family farm.

We postponed our reception to next year. We're still getting married in August, but with only 15 people, our original invite list is 160. The ceremony/reception will be outside, at my parents' house instead of our venue. Tables will be smaller, but spaced farther apart. Each table will have 2-3 people who will be seated by household. We're giving everyone. A mini bottle of hand sanitizer, and masks to wear whenever they're not eating.

Postponed everything to next year. We don't want to be the ones in charge of our family and friends sickness/death because we wanted to party. We are instead going to the courthouse and pushing everything else to next year.
It's about to spiral out of control in the next month or two with people pushing to open schools. Buckle up because it's about to get crazy. Good luck I hope all goes well for you.

I think it all depends on where you live. Some people have chosen to move their wedding and some have not. Either choice is not bad. I don’t believe just bc you have a wedding you will be responsible to the extreme of sick or death of your family! Just follow the guidelines in your state hun! Enjoy your beautiful day
