Congratulations! Yay for being 10 months out (ish). We sent our save the dates out at 10 months, as well as my fiance sent his proposal boxes out. Does your venue catering include bar & dessert too? Have you set up your wedding website or registry, or hotel block? Taken your engagement pictures? Looked at invites? Started thinking about day of presents or decor? Your fiance's apparel, bridesmaids and groomsmen outfits? Booked honeymoon? Bought wedding bands?

We have engagement pictures and save dates done not out my dads wife is doing cupcakes. I know what invite I want. I am out on medical leave from work so I did. It want to spend to much extra right now. Our honeymoon is a cruise in February but my fiancé will not know what time he has off till a month or so. Bridesmaids and grooms women choosing own ourfits. We have decor. I have most of my bridesmaids presents. For hotel blocks I am not sure how many out of town guest we are having figure we will get a bit of response with save the dates and go from there. If we get a hotel block and do t need it can we cancel it? I hate for a hotel to loose money.

Yay! It sounds like you have a ton done. So you are taking your honeymoon this february or next february? I would set up a complimentary hotel block. We have two, a 15 room block with Marriott and a 10 room block with Wyndham. Since it's a small complimentary block, we aren't responsible for unbooked rooms and can add rooms as we need them. Usually you have to book a month before or they open the rooms regardless.

Can I unblock the rooms ? He said his family always stays with family in town. So I only have 6 possible out of towners. Out of 6 I am really only expecting 2. One of Wich my dad and his wife. They are getting a condo due to the fact she wants to make the cupcakes and needs a kitchen.

I feel so behind!! Way to go! I’m getting married the same day as you and as of now I just have the Venue, which is also our caterer/drinks, i have my dress and we have our officiant!! We’re waiting until after the holidays to lock down our DJ and Photographer. The FMIL is doing our STD’s/invite, some decor, flowers.

I'm sure you can! Usually hotels aren't that worried though, since it's only a few rooms and they have another month to book them after they release them anyway. But I would just ask when you contact the hotel if you can release the rooms out of the block after you know 100% how many you need.

We have the Venue, catering, my dress, DJ, officiant, flowers, photographer, and bridesmaids attire. I did my invitations on Shutterfly to save a little bit of money. We have done almost all of our registries (Target and Bed Bath and Beyond).

I still need to find a cake, wedding accessories, and attire for all the guys. I am still looking into the honeymoon and we still need to go get my fiance's wedding band.

What time are y'all starting your ceremony? I put 6:30 pm, but I'm worried that that will be too late for pictures. I started it late so we could have nice, sunset lighting and so it would hopefully be a little cooler than if we started earlier.
