September 2020 dress shopping?

Maybe about 8 months out you could buy your dress. Shopping part though....never too early lol

You can start shopping now but I would wait a year out before you buy.

I bought my dress way early because I saw it and liked it. If I would have waited someone else would have bought it. On the up side I got it at a wedding consignment shop so you take it home day of purchase. I get to enjoy looking at it and thinking how awesome I’m gonna look. As long as your engaged and have a wedding budget. I don’t think it’s too early. You never know how long it might take to find THE dress so waiting too long will be more stressful. Good luck!!!❤️

They say 8 or 9 months out. But I bought mind in October of 2018 (before we even had a date) cause I wanted my grandmother to still be around when I found "the dress." She ended up picking it out and our wedding isn't until September of 2020. It doesn't hurt to research what you like but when you know you found the one, you KNOW.

It's nice to go and see what styles you like! I had a friend buy hers over a year before her wedding date due to a good sale so if you have an instinct it's good, go for it

I bought my dress in June 2018 for a Sept 2019 wedding. I'm glad I did because it took much longer to come in than originally planned plus I still need to begin alterations. So you can begin looking anytime now.

My date is 9.27.20. After looking at hundreds of dresses online, I saw one that just took my breath away. I reached out to a boutique that is having a trunk show next week and they'll have this dress available for me to try. I mentioned to the consultant that I feel it's way too early to be looking at dresses and she said I'm actually right on time since dresses take anywhere from 6 to 12 months to have made after ordering and then there are fittings to deal with. Also, a designer can discontinue a dress at any time so if you truly love something I guess it's never too soon. At the very least, if I don't like this dress I will know more about what I like when I decide to go at it again in the fall.

I have zero boobs. I'm built like a boy. I look best in a-line so it creates a more defined waist for me 😂.
