September 2020 Brides!

Hi!

For those still affected by covid and plans and reopening what would you do in my situation! I have my wedding planned for 9/17 in New Jersey. I am behind on ordering invites due to the unknown restrictions. I was hoping to order them, but I don’t want to spend the money for 120 invites if the list has to get drastically cut. I can’t postpone until July.
Thank you!

If you're in a bind in terms of getting invites, you can always get them fast on amazon or michaels and print out the details yourself. or there are websites that you can use templates and as long as you have a printer and nice paper you can do yourself. that's what i did. i just went on greetingsisland.com for a free invitation and rsvp card template and printed them in my own printer and on my own cardstock. or if you're REALLY in a bind, then virtual invitations!

Normally invitations should be sent 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Six weeks before Sept. 17 would be August 6. If you plan to send them late July/early August, then you can talk to the venue about postponement options at the beginning of July and then order invites. We ordered from Truly Engaging and we should have them within 2 weeks. I think you can definitely fit it all in, especially if you order pre-addressed envelopes! Then you just assemble, pop on a stamp, and send them out!

I ordered first set at Costco and got them within a week. If you have your list populated they can vent print addresses.

    Hey fellow Jersey girl!

Well, we seem to be on the right track, at the moment... but we'll have to see what happens as the weather warms and people go down the shore.

That said, there's no need to order your invites quite yet, you can wait a few weeks. Absolutely keep talking with your venue, and watch the data.

    Good luck!
