September 2019 brides!

I’m not September 2019, but when I was 9 months out, that’s pretty much all I had booked too, so I wouldn’t worry! Maybe get your officiant locked in next, and get your dress soon? Otherwise, you seem like you have all the major things booked which is right where you should be.

Hey! I have a venue, caterer, DJ, photographer (also my videographer), florist, and my officiant (my brother). A lot comes with the venue, so that helped. I have most of my attire, I just need a belt and necklace. We also ordered our STDs this last weekend, but won't send them out until late January/ early February. We're taking a break until next year and we'll start up again with looking at rings, and smaller things like photobooth and lawn games. I think you're okay with timing. I just knew I would want breaks every so often so I tried getting a lot done early.

Oh I also have our baker which also came with the venue.

September 2019 Brides

You sound like you’re doing great. I would recommend getting your dress soon and booking your hair and makeup artist because they book up quickly!

You actually make me feel behind! my wedding is September 28th and I lucked out as my Venue is also my caterer/drinks, i have our offiant and I have my dress! that’s about it though, waiting until after the holidays to get our photographer and DJ. the FMIL is doing flowers/save the dates/invites/some decor, as well.

We're getting married September 7th and have secured our venue, photographer, month of coordinator, officiant, dj, caterer, florist, and ordered my dress as well as selected the stationery shop that is doing our invitations. In the next month or so, we plan on ordering save the dates, finalizing bridesmaids dresses, selecting our cake baker, as well as setting up our gift registries! I know I need to start looking at hair and makeup artists too. Keep in mind that I'm extremely type A and am planning a destination wedding. I've had to be efficient each time my FH and I travel to the state we're getting married in! You sound like you have a solid start - I agree with a PP that you should start trying to find your dress (that's one of the most fun parts)!

We're probably behind... but that's OK. We're getting married 6/15/19, and we only have our venue and caterer settled so far. We did already have an engagement party, and we're probably not doing save the dates because everyone already knows the date. The invites have been designed but not ordered, I know who we're getting the suit from, I know which dress designer I'm picking and have a few final styles to choose from, and I have a pretty good idea where we'll be getting the cake. We're making our own playlist and will ask one of our many friends in music/ performance industry to DJ/ MC. We're also writing our own ceremony and will ask another one of these friends to officiate (after getting an online certification). We do still need to secure a rental place for china and glassware, a photographer (that's a big one), and order the favors (which are mostly planned). Our venue is GORGEOUS (historic estate, ceremony in the garden), so flowers and decor are super simple and minimalist, and I'm not too concerned about those. My sister/ MOH used to be a hair and makeup stylist, so I'll ask her for help in that department, either directly or in selecting someone. Hopefully I'm not horrendously far behind. I'm trying to keep a level head and sift through all the choices to make sure we stay on budget, and stagger the deposits to make sure we can afford everything.

Oh man, I have been engaged since May and all I have is my venue. I’m down to choosing between two dresses, so hopefully that is almost finished, but we have literally done nothing else! I’m so not into this🤣

I am also a September bride! I am feeling better. Hearing that am not the only one who feels like there running a marathon and can't keep up.
