Separating tips?

I’m planning on tipping both my Planner and Photographer for our upcoming wedding. They’ve both been amazing, so helpful and responsive especially with the COVID madness going on. Question is, they both have assistants so when I tip them, should I separate out the tips into 2 separate envelopes per (e.g. 1 for planner and 1 for assistant), or put the whole tip in one envelope and let the main person decide how to divvy up? Both my photographer and planner own their own businesses btw.

I personally would tip separately, just to make sure each person received it.

I agree with Lisa, I would put the tips in individual envelopes to ensure both parties get what you intended.
