Separate Invitations for Zoom??

Samantha, on July 31, 2020 at 10:04 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 4

So it is now pretty much set that we are going with our backup plan to have the ceremony in my parents’ backyard (venue is very likely to still be closed in October). We are going to send email invitations to invite our out-of-state family and friends to watch a Zoom stream of our ceremony. My question is, do we send a separate invitation to those guests than the one we send to the immediate family and bridal party that will be there in person?? We know who we want there in person (parents, siblings and their kids, bridal party), so do we just send them normal invites and then the Zoom invite to everyone else?

Advice is appreciated!

I’m planning to send formal invites to those attending (20 people, about 10 invites to send) and then sending an e-vite to Zoom attendees.

I’m sending a separate invite asking for their email, but I’m also uninviting because I sent invites prior.

We're doing e-vites for everyone to save paper and money. Guess separate invites it is

Send a different, informal invitation. Since you are not inviting them anyplace, just saying, if you want time... That calls for an informal note, or make a card you deliver by email.
