Sending Stds in two waves?

Kristen, on July 3, 2019 at 6:44 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
Would it be weird if I send STDs in two waves?

I am planning to send them mid August and I have 4 cousins and 2 friends who are all moving in August at varying dates. I had planned to send them and don’t all have their new addresses yet. I was thinking I could send out all my family ones in a few weeks once I have them, before the frenzy of cousins moving. I will probably be hand-delivering to my friends whenever they’ve moved because both are moving under a mile away from me.

If they turned on mail forwarding with the USPS, you should be all set. If not, I'd text/email them a photo of the STD and tell them you'll send the hard copy once they update you with their new address.

I think that's fine! With invites, we sent them 1-2 weeks apart since we would do so many per night (stamping & closing & assembling) and I just wanted to get them out.

If it's due to an issue collecting addresses then I think that's fine, especially because everyone who might get their STD late will have had you contact them for their address, so they'll already know what caused the delay. I'd say don't worry about this
