Sending out invites, when?

8-10 weeks before the wedding.

I’ve seen 2-3 moths before! It’s tricky to get them out early but not too early haha I’m in the same boat.

I agree, about 8 weeks, but for those it will be a destination, I would send them out in a month or two, so they have time to think about it, plan, and book airfare. If itll be far, think about it, you plan a vacation about a year in advance for these same reasons. Sure, they dont need quite as much time because you probably have a place set up for them to stay, but if i were recieving that invite, id want to know at least 6 months in advance to settle things.

I'd invest in Save-The-Dates for those who would consider the wedding a destination wedding. Those can go out any time now--maybe February for a good six months notice. Invitations should go out 8-10 weeks before the wedding.

Thank you so much! Just sent out Save the date a couple of days ago. Think I'm going to send out the invites in April for the guests in the states and probably mid May for the guests that live close to give them a month an half to plan out their week and schedule since the wedding is on a Friday
