Send out invitations!!

Our wedding is the same day and we mailed ours this week. It's early but we mailed them now because most are out-of-country.

This is a great question because I’m also getting married in August (23rd) & trying to decide when to send out my invitations. My wedding planner suggested I send them out by April 23rd since we never sent a Save the Date. My struggle is that we need to find another hotel for room blocks. The one we originally were going to use (for our original date of May 23rd) is closed until August 31st (due to the pandemic).


So I guess send them out ASAP and no later than May 8th? I hope this helps. Best wishes to you!

We are August 7th with an RSVP date of July 17th. We are sending out invites June 1st (hopefully! 🤞) but with your RSVP date being earlier, maybe send them out mid May? They say to send them out 6-8 weeks before your actual wedding.

Usually, invitations are sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding. So we will send our mid August wedding invites out in late June or early July and have rvsps due a month before the wedding l.

Isn't there new guidelines out as to how many people can come to your wedding based on what phase your state is at? In some cases its a waiting game as to when to send invites out.

Generally people say 6-8 weeks before your wedding date, but I'd think maybe like 8-9 weeks since the reservations need to be made early !

Invitations typically go out 6-8 weeks before your wedding. So mid to late June would be a good time to send your invitations.

Lucky you. You guys were not hit that hard so you can probably get to phase 2 or 3 pretty quickly and it doesn't affect your wedding.

I'm planning to send out our 8/8 invitations (or save-the-new-dates, depending on how things are going) around 6/8. Our RSVP/hotel block deadline is 7/17 and we sent save the dates in December.
