Dedicated December 2019

Send Off

Hi All! I need more information on the send off and when to do it! I have a bunch of ideas, but I don't know if it should be when we are leaving the church or when we are leaving the reception? Also is there a way that we could do it inside (December 21st wedding)?

Our Wedding is from 2 to 3 at the church.

From there we (wedding party/parents) will be getting photos at the church and hopefully some outside photos at a nearby park. The guests will be going to the reception following the ceremony. Cocktail hour is from 4-5 at the reception hall. We plan on being there around 5 to do the entrance into the reception. The reception ends at 10 pm.

I was thinking we could do bubbles between the church and reception or sparklers when we are leaving the reception to go to the hotel. Do you ladies have any other ideas or things that we could do inside?

I would say after the reception, I would think you may be overwhelmed with picture taking. You can do glow sticks, lanterns, confetti poppers

I did mine after the ceremony with bubbles outdoors. if you want to do something inside then i think glow sticks or light wands or even ribbon on sticks would look nice.

Leaving the receptions. I've seen glow sticks for inside it looks pretty cool. We are doing sparklers because it comes with the venue.

We did sparklers leaving the reception but for inside I would have to agree with PP on the glow stick idea
