What is send and seal? I'm having mine made on a site like vista print...i forget what the name of the site is, my brother is doing it. They're just really simple, one card. No RSVP cards, I'm going to have ppl RSVP on my website or by calling me. But you could get RSVP cards made up too. I'll call my brother and ask what the site is called.

Hey Lu -- call/email Kelly. She goes by Goskell on here (she shows as a vendor King desigs at Gossett printing). She does design and printing, and has helped numerous brides including myself find something they love in their price range. She can help you with both the design and the printing.

Like you, I fell in love with some invites that would have been ~700. By custom designing (with an inspiration like you already have) and printing, I wound up paying $200. We did RSVP postcards which helped to cut down on the cost too.

Seal and send- invitations with no envelope. Typically the bottom tears off for an RSVP postcard. They fold up and have just a seal closing it.

I ordered my invitations through www.123print.com They were extremely reasonable. If you sign up for their e-mail they always send coupons. I found them to be less expensive than vista print for my invites. You can also request up to three invitation style samples. We did this first in the different card stock options before we ordered.

Cyndi B is right. I found a few on Anns Bridal Bargain that are nice and very inexpensive. I ordered a sample and they were pretty great! I'm thinking about making my own inserts to include in the seal and send...haven't decided yet, though.

    I say YES! Smiley smile

There is a site called Anne's Bridal Bargains, they are pretty cheap and have some GREAT invitations. I just ordered a bunch of samples completely free to see which ones i want to order, i can get Invites, Reception and Replay cards for just over $200.00. And with Save the dates it'll only be like $280 total.

Worth is in the eye of the beholder.

Price is all about paper quality and printing methods.

If invitations are something that is important to you, and that is the design, paper type, and printing method you would like to have, then it is all if You think it is worth it to spend that much.

    The bigger question is

How much do you have set aside for Invitations and Stamps

If you budgeted $450 for invites and Stamps, then go for it.

If when you looked at your budget and said, I'm not paying a penny over $300, then you have a problem. If you were ready to spend 3K on Vera Wang invites, then you are Way under budget.
