Selling my Oleg Cassini Wedding Dress

Erika, on May 19, 2010 at 3:36 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

I was just mentioning on a thread that I just listed this dress on Ebay and Oncewed, but I decided to post on here so you ladies can get first dibs. This dress has a sweetheart neckline. This dress was on the cover of Manhattan Bride. There were no alterations made to the dress itself. I did however have a custom made detachable train added to the back. There are 8 buttons hidden under the sash at the waist in the back only where the train buttons on, which adds an approximate 2 foot long train. I actually wore the train for the ceremony and removed it for the reception. There are no stains or marks of any sort on the dress. It has been professionally dry cleaned. It was purchased from David's Bridal - the style # is CWG322. The wedding was only 3 weeks ago. I paid a little over $1000 for the dress and train. I do have matching shoes.

I had asked on my post if it is hard to list postings on ebay or oncewed. I have never even been on the site before.

HAHA - important tidbits of info!!! It's one of those days!

The dress is a size 16 and my clothing size is a 14. So it runs pretty true. Asking price is $500 or best offer.

Yes it is really simple - once you click "sell my dress". It brings up a form that you fill out with all of the dress' info and you can upload pictures and that's it.

Ebay is very similar just that you pay a small fee - like $10 to sell it

I love the dress - I loved it even more with the train - It made such a difference for me since I am 5'9" I wanted some length. I wouldn't sell it if I had the space, but living in NYC - storage space is a hot commodity!
