Self make up?

I’m right there with you! I don’t want professional make up mostly because worried I’ll hate what they do, and I’ll have to wash it all off anyway. I know how to do basic makeup, but on a daily basis I don’t wear any. I’m used to my naked face, so anything slightly overdone would make me not feel like myself. I did just buy some blush to give that a try for the first time. Usually I just do powder foundation and mascara, but it makes me look so pale! Lol

I'm in the same boat, Lizbeth! I usually go bare face or maybe just a bit of mascara, so I'm thinking I won't go as all out as some brides do because I don't feel like myself with a lot of makeup on.

Same here! I am starting to practice my day of look so I have an idea of what I like. I actually posted a photo a few days ago.

Same here! Dont have the budget or desire to be painted up. I found tutorials on a simple, vintage inspired look and have been practicing that. I suggest finding a simple tutorial you like and practicing!

Sephora is where I learned to do the little make up I use on special occasions, so great advice! I may go back there to see what else they can show me.

Since you have time, I’d suggest going somewhere like Sephora or ulta (or wherever you usually buy your makeup) and see if they can help you find the right products and application techniques that work for you! It won’t cost extra and by the time your wedding rolls around you’ll be a pro at it!
