I am considering self catering my wedding. We are having a 125 guest and we were doing finger foods and appetizers only. I was quoted over 2500 for that service and it just isn't within my budget. Any suggestions? I plan to use Costco and Sams Club.

    If you would consider doing what REALwoman said about talking to a culinary school about recruiting some of their students, check with the Art Institute of Los Angeles, first. AI has a culinary thread that is VERY successful over here in South Florida, I'd venture to guess that you would get quality service through them.

    Bad just Bad. I say maybe do a cake and punch reception instead? Not during meal times though.
