I know that a lot of people on here frown upon self-catering your wedding BUT I would like to hear positive feedback who self-catered their own wedding.

My future MIL has catered large parties before and both my fiance and I have big families that we are used to cooking for.

We completely understand food safety and will be very cautious as we always are when cooking food for others.

I think a roast pig sounds awesome ( and I don't even like pork, nope not even bacon). And its wonderful that you have friends who care about you and love you and are want to pitch in no matter the degrees of relation. If you remember please post a picture, I would love to see it.
