My fiance and I are in between booking at Secrets Royal Beach or Breathless Resort in Punta Cana. Has anyone recently stayed at either of these resorts? We really like Breathless however; I am nervous it will be a college frat party scene and we are looking for a mix of relaxation and "party" drinking at the pool kind of feel.

We are going to Excellence El Carmen at the end of January. If you haven't booked by then I can let you know how it was if you send me a message! I will also have possible tips about Punta Cana excursions if we decide to do any!

Hi Amanda! I've heard amazing things about both! The only thing that I've heard with Breathless is that it's geared more towards singles instead of couples! I've stayed at the Secrets resort in Cancun and it was absolutely beautiful, so I'm sure it is gorgeous in Punta Cana!
