Secrets Resorts

Hi! I’ve been to several of their resorts, and I love them. Maroma, Akumal and Cap Cana are usually considered their top tier resorts and I think very honeymoon friendly. Definitely a couples resort. Breathless tends to be a little more party atmosphere, so you’ll probably see some bachelorette parties, but there’s still plenty for couples. Dreams resorts are under the same umbrella and are kid friendly. All of the resorts offer a honeymoon package if you’re there at least 7 days. Feel free to PM me if you’d like more info!

My FH and I only stay at Secrets or Breathless resorts! They are by far the best all inclusive resorts out there. Secrets is a bit more laid back and geared towards couples and relaxing. Breathless is just as great but with more entertainment - I've stayed there and it's not too much of a party atmosphere. I haven't stayed at a Dreams resort because we've always stayed at adults only, but you really can't go wrong with any resorts in this chain!

We usually just book an ocean view room for our normal vacations. I know they have different levels at each resort and I believe the preferred club has a private pool/area and restaurant that only preferred club members can get to, as well as you get butler service for your room! I’d say go all out for the honeymoon!!

Preferred club only has butler service at a couple resorts. I always like the preferred club for the lounge, and a lot of the resorts now have a separate pool and a breakfast restaurant for preferred only. They also have some extra amenities in the rooms themselves.

My sister and I did a girls trip at Secrets Cancun, it was great! It’s definitely catered towards couples (great food, wine tastings, no kids running around). We were in a basic room
and it was still absolutely gorgeous. I think there are no bad choices there!
