I hope this message finds you well and my apologies for been MIA in a while. So we got married this past October 13, 2019 and everything was perfect!!!
While we wait for the Wedding photos from both of our photographers; I would like to share with you all something very personal and it is because of this, that ... I do believe in miracles now.............

Our Church ceremony was unique, personalized. Our officiant asked us to share a secret thought to each other in front of families and friends. My thought was very sentimental and I kept it for three years. Let's remember again what I said in church 😀
SECRET THOUGHT:
I met Anthony a few weeks before I traveled to the Middle East. See, I am a traveler – I love to visit other parts of the world; meet other cultures and learn other customs.
When I met Anthony – I have told him that I would be away for 2 weeks and it will be impossible for us to communicate. We agreed to pick up where we left off on my return.
One night at my mom’s , we were talking about my visit to Israel and the tradition with the notes on the Western Wall. I told my mom that there is this belief that if anyone put a note in the wall, this message will ascend to heaven and God Almighty will read it and make your wish come true. Later that night my mom gave me a note to put it on the wall for her.
Once I arrive to Israel, I took a bus and went straight to Jerusalem. The next day I took a local tour to Old Jerusalem with the rest of the people who stayed at the same Hostel that I did.Everything there is magical – I saw myself going and stepping places where Jesus and his disciples did. I felt at peace. The air there is so fresh. Everybody was walking down those narrow roads – we walked for hours until we made a left turn and saw the Western Wall. My eyes grew bigger while holding my mom’s prayer across my chest. ‘This is it’ I said to myself. I was there about to enter the Western Wall when our Tour Guide told us ‘If you have any last prayer request, please do it now. If you need a piece of paper and a pen, I have plenty’ Perhaps it was the connection with the Holy Land, perhaps it was the people around me writing prayers – or maybe It was because I was thinking of Anthony – I saw myself writing a prayer to God.
Even though I told Anthony that I wrote a prayer about him to God– I did not really tell him exactly what I wrote.Three years later this is a copy of the message I wrote to God;
"Hi God, this is Luis – I hope you still remember me even though I have not talked to you in a while. I am in Israel – our Holy Land, where you son did so much for these people. I am now by the Western Wall and here I am writing a request for you. You know what? I know for sure that you made me the way I am – I love people – all people and I do not judge anyone.
See, I met this guy back in New Jersey, his name is Anthony Agosto and well – he is kind of cute you know. We went out on our first date and we kissed!!! That kiss was awesome – I want to get to know him more on my return to the USA. I really do not ask you for much, but this is a special request.
Please, grant me the miracle that this time it will work out – I am tired of meeting people that do not deserve me. I am tired of dating – tired of lies and especially tired of being alone. I want to be loved, I want to love. I want happiness and joy in my life from now on.
In my return for your miracle – I promise you that I will get married in a Church. I want to get married under your eyes – under your blessing. I want you to be my special guest in the ceremony. I will thank you and keep thanking you at the altar. I know that people would tell me that it will be easier and quicker to get married in court – but I made a promise to you and I will keep it – you have my word."

Once I finished writing the prayer, I stood in front of the Western Wall and inserted both, my mom’s and my own prayer into the cracks.
Leaving I look at the sky and I said ‘Thank you Lord’
Anthony - remember those times you kept asking me to get married in court and I gave you the same excuse? The excuse that all my family members got married in church and that I needed to follow that tradition? Well, this is the real excuse why I wanted to get married in church. I made a promise to God that if he will make my wish come true – I will get married in his house and I guess I kept my promise!!!! Yes!!!!!!
