Secret Clinical Deodorant Isn't Working!

FutureMrsD, on May 29, 2017 at 9:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 34

I know there was a thread similar to this posted awhile ago, but for the ladies that have used the clinical secret deodorant and have it not work for them; what deodorant did you use instead that worked? I haven't even been sweating and it's not working like it should be Smiley sad I know I'll be sweating during the ceremony since it's outside and I'll be dancing the night away so I gotta have something that works! TIA!

Try Sweat Block. It is used a little differently; you put it on at night and it (in theory) lasts a few days.

I've always had issues with deodorant working and somehow the dove deodorant SPRAY does.

I have to change up my deodorant every few months as they randomly stop working. I would try another brands clinical strength like dove or degree

I have anxiety sweat problems. When I worry I will sweat through a shirt it will happen and no type of deodorant works. I have focused on deodorant that smells good. I too like men's deodorant.

Degree clinical works pretty well for me. I bought Secret by accident once and I may as well not have used deodorant.

Secret clinical takes 2-3 days of continued use to actually work from what I've found! Also you're supposed to put it on at night. Is this the first day you used it? It was a miracle find for me and it's all I use now!

I've found Mitchum for Women to be a formidable antidote to swampy NYC humidity.

Botox in your armpits sounds interesting @ OliviaP. Do you notice an increase in perspiration in other areas?

I tried Sweat Block like @Celia recommended and really liked the results. I still use antiperspirant-deodorant daily. I also use tend skin daily before deodorant. It is for in-grown hair but has side effect of controlling odor. I use the original stuff, not the one made to be a deodorant. The Secret Clinical didn't work on me at all.

I can't think of the name of it off the top of my head but I had to get a Rx for an antiperspirant when I was in high school.

I would use that and then use a regular deodorant for odor. It's going to drive me nuts until I remember the name of it.

ETA: Drysol was the name of it

I am a girl that sweats A LOT and I use Mitchum for her clinical strength and it's magical. Haven't sweat since I started using it. It's becoming more popular now so there's a few scent options. Good luck!

When I was in middle school I had such a bad problem with this. I used certain dri every night. It's a super strong watery roll on antiperspirant. And then regular deodorant in the daytime.

I don't struggle with it nearly at all like I used to but after trying out a bunch of deodorants - I really like degree (I think movement or move strong or something).

I've been wanting to try Botox under the pits, but my primary dr said it can make you sweat a lot more in other areas.

So now I just the clinical strength at night and regular during the day. I feel sometimes I sweat more than others, so I might have to change also.

I had the same issue as you with Secret Clinical. I switched to Degree Clinical and have been very happy. DH uses it as well.
