Second thoughts on EVERY decision

kmrn9770, on May 6, 2017 at 2:57 AM Posted in Planning 0 12

Is it normal or am I the only one that is second guessing the decisions I've made as far as: my dress, the BM dresses and color, the venue (really the only reason on the venue is because it's at Gillette stadium on New Year's Eve and there hasn't been a Patriots home game there in YEARS...guess where there is a home game this year?? Yup, you guessed it!!!) and actually the date as well! The only thing I'm not having second thoughts on is marrying him. I almost wish we just eloped by ourselves, but it's way too late with the amount of money on deposits etc. Gah.

You're not alone. I don't think there has been a single decision that I haven't second guessed. I am sure most people on here can relate too.

MNBride...I'm getting married at the hotel attached to Gillette stadium where the NEw England Patriots play and there is a game that day, which severely impacts the travel of my guests who are choosing to not stay over night. Basically to get to the stadium it's one road in/out and gridlock for 2 hrs pregame and 3 hours post game. So basically my guests will need to be at the venue by 4p the latest or the won't get in by ceremony time (6p) so I'm worried everyone will be utterly shitfaced by the start of the ceremony....yikes.

If possible I would think about moving it to a different location or changing the date because that sounds like a hot mess.

I changed the bridesmaids dress color ( before) ordering. My MUA after deposit and second guessing the bracelet I ordered for them, but waiting for them to come in right now. They don't have any bling. But I can get bling earring I guess.

I feel the same! I picked a holiday too, Labor Day weekend, and although I don't have the Patriots to deal with, there are still concerns with hotels and getting my first choice on bachelorette party ideas. I definitely had doubts about the dress but I went in to see it again and I saw exactly why I chose it. I'm definitely freaked out about the BM dresses, because my party is on the east coast and we couldn't find the dress for them to try on. I am just trying to breathe, do some yoga, and just make decisions. So, just go with your gut. We started planning our wedding at the end of March and things are finally coming together Smiley smile Good luck!

Totally normal, it's just anxiety. Breathe and try to take some time putting all wedding related things aside and enjoy the beautiful weather with your SO!!

Yeah, is there any way you can move the venue? That sounds very hectic and complicated
