Second Guessing Dress

Tracy, on August 15, 2019 at 12:09 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Sorry this posted in the wrong forum and I don't know how to delete or move Smiley sad

So there has been a lot going on surrounding my wedding, most items have been worked through.

However, one of them that isn't working itself out is my dress. I've seen like 5 people that have had the same dress and there are numerous ones on sales of it on various sites. Mine has some unique items added to with a belt and the veil, but I'm feeling mehhhh.

I'm not feeling in love with it anymore. Did any of you go through this?

If a lot of people have your dress it just means it’s a good dress that appeals to a lot of people! Those extra touches will make it feel more special. At least you know your dress is fashion forward, that’s always nice.
A lot of people have worn mine too, even a styled shoot on a wedding blog. It doesn’t bother me because no one is going to look exactly like me, and hey if it's considered hideous many generations down the road, at least I know there’s a lot of people out there that loved that ugly dress too! Lol

Honestly, no. I picked my dress, I love it on me and I haven't looked to compare anyone else's choices, I'm content in my own.
If there are others like yours, it just means , that you all have great taste!
You will be the only one wearing it on your big day and that's all that matters.
I did second guess my veil. I went from fingertip length to cathedral and I am thrilled that I did.
I think you made your choice for a reason. Believe in yourse

I am so grateful that you posted this question. I am going they the same thing. I have my dress and a second that I was gifted but I don’t like either one. I find myself trying to figure out what I need to do to be happy with them. I don’t know if it’s just bridal anxiety but I really want to shop for a different one which is out of the question because I have a wedding to pay for.

I haven't had the problem of others having my dress, but I think everyone worries about their dress at some point. I tried my dress on in blush and ordered it in white. I was TERRIFIED that I would hate it. But it all turned out ok. You'll be a beautiful bride! 💜

HI! All is great with my dress. When I went for my alteration appointment I fell in love all over again. I pick it up this week for my final fitting Smiley smile
