Second dress???

Katie, on April 23, 2019 at 4:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13
I have been toying with the idea of getting a second dress for the reception. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on where to find one decently priced? I’m not wanting to put a lot of money into it. Just wanting something that is comfortable to dance in.

I would check Lulus, Nordstrom, or other retail stores instead of looking specifically at bridal shops.

No, bridal shops can work too. Ask local shops if they have discontinued dresses (often in back). I got mine for less than $200!

Cocomelody has beautiful dresses, I'm actually contemplating getting a reception dress from them.

I will have to check out cocomelody. I’ve never heard of them. Are their prices pretty reasonable?

I got the Sedona. I am actually wearing it for the ceremony, and my more expensive dress for the reception. But my azazie was only $300, and they have lots of options and an in-home try on program.

    Whyyyyyyyyyy!

Sorry I hate hearing this is honestly so wasteful, you get to wear your pretty dress 1 day and 1 day only why do you want to shorten that time after all the money you put into your dress I really don't understand why people do this.

I didn’t put a lot of money into my first dress. I bought it from a bridal store that was going out of business and paid about 1/5th of the original cost of the dress. I also don’t feel very comfortable and am now self conscious of myself when wearing the dress therefore I’m going to find a dress that’s a simple and easy to move in for my reception and I’m going to enjoy the evening instead of being uncomfortable and self conscious all night.

I second cocomelody! I actually purchased my ceremony dress from them (it’s absolutely gorgeous). Reputable and affordable for sure!
