Second dress opinions ?

I think a second dress is a great idea. Makes it easier to move around in for the reception

I loved my wedding gown so much, I didn’t want to take it off! But I know a second reception dress has become an increasing trend.

I’m thinking about changing dresses for the reception as well. We are going more casual, but I still want to look bridal for the ceremony. My first dress I found for under $100. I still need it altered. Once I have the final cost I can decide if I want another one that I have my eye on. It’s not necessary, but would just be for fun. And it’s less dressy than my first one. That dress looks great on you! If you feel it would be more comfortable, go for it!

I personally think second dresses are a waste of time and money.

I thought about doing a second dress, but we’re doing a sunrise wedding followed by brunch reception. Our start time is 7am and we plan to be done by noon. If I do change, it will be into a simple sundress I think.

Definitely doing a second dress. Could not pick between 2 wedding dresses so I’m actually wearing 2 wedding dresses reception dress has a detachable train. I also have 2 head gears. Being wanting to be a princess my whole life so let’s do it. I only have 1 life to live.

Yes I’m doing a second dress (in ivory) since it will be more comfortable to sit and relax with our intimate group afterwards. My new husband will also be changing from dark suit and color scheme tie and boutonnière to white dress shirt and beige dinner jacket.

I got a 2nd dress for only $100 because bustling the first would probably be closer to $200 so I figured I would save some money on alterations and have a 2nd dress instead
