Seating questions

What do you mean by a bridal table? Like seating the whole bridal party at the same table for the reception? You can, but many people nowadays choose to have a sweetheart table for just the bride and groom and seat the bridal party at tables with their significant others and friends.

It is a personal preference. You can either have a sweetheart table which is just the bride and groom or you can do a head table with the bridal party and you and your spouse. Sweetheart tables have become more popular because they allow the bridal party to sit separate from the bride and groom with their significant others.

For instance, we had a sweetheart table for just the 2 of us as bride and groom, and then we had our wedding party sitting with other guests. Like, one of the groomsman was invited with his girlfriend and his parents and sisters because we were close with all of them. Rather than sitting with other bridal party members, he say with his girlfriend and his family at a table. The bridal party does not need to be on display if you don't want them to. Or, if you want a table with the bridal party, that works too. Whatever you want.

I guess I'm confused then why you asked.

Personal preference. My FH and I are unsure too and have talked about a few different options. My tentative plan is for the head table to be my MOH (sister) and her fiance, Best man and his wife, and my husband and I. We might switch to a sweetheart table and sit my MOH with my family and the Best man with the other friends. Another option is for it to be just us and our parents on either side of us.



It is really up to you!

We are having a sweetheart table instead of a head table. All our memebers of our bridal party have spouses and/or kids so it's easier to do a seating chart without a head table
