This may be more of me venting my frustration than advice really needed.

I’m working on my seating chart and my FMIL is telling where to put people and which table to put them at. I understand the putting people together but not at which tables. I’m doing that part. I feel like this is the one part I get to do without input from everyone. So now she’s stressing me out about it.

Working on a seating chart is hard enough but to feel like I have no say in it is super frustrating

I will need a lot of input since most of the guests are FHs. I don’t relish this piece at all.

Most of the guests are my family so it’s not difficult. FH side is mostly friends of the family which is very easy to do.

Hey Kelci! I'm sorry that you are feeling frustrated with your FMIL.
Perhaps you could work on your seating plan when you are alone and have time to concentrate on what you are doing. I know your FMIL is trying to be helpful but if she is adding her opinion where you do not need it, then maybe you should withhold any updates you have until you have it completed. That way, you can show her when you have it finished.
It's not long at all until your wedding! Are you excited?
