Hi guys! I wanted to get custom favors with my guests names and table numbers on them. Something they can take home. We’re getting married at a brewery so I was thinking custom coasters. Any ideas are appreciated!

I think that sounds like a good idea ! Someone I know gave little bottles single servings of wine with the labels as the name. They had their wedding at a winery.

Hi Taylor welcome to the forums! A coaster would be a good idea and something you could easily diy if you chose to. As I was thinking of this three things came to mind with the brewery being your venue. The first is custom shot glasses. Many people collect these and those that do not would probably keep it regardless. The second thing is koozies. Also something that is usable outside of the wedding. The third would be maybe something like matches or white solo type cups. (Pic attached) All you could easily customize. My favorite of the three is the solo cups. I think it totally matches the brewery venue. My only advice would be to be careful with doing customized favors. Many people do not take them or throw them away.

Ive seen these different places and I think theyre so cool! Unless you do DIY getting names and table numbers on printed on anything may be cost prohibitive, but you can always put the name and table number on a tag attached

I would avoid shot glasses or koozies. I have gotten so many of them over the years, and honestly when I moved a couple years ago I threw most of them out. I do like the idea of coasters, especially if you’re going to personalize them. But I would put the table assignment on the bottom so when they’re using them at home it’s just their names showing. They would get much more use of them that way, and if you’re spending the money that’s definitely what you want!

I like the idea of coasters, and we're doing something similar - we got coasters from Vistaprint with our wedding date and such on them, and then have a piece of paper that will go in front of the coaster with the guests' name and table number. When they get to their table and pick a seat, they can leave the paper in the wooden block to reserve their seat, and use the coaster as a coaster. I was tempted to write the escort card info on the backs of the coaster, but was a little worried it would run if it got wet (using cricut vinyl decals would have worked though) and I liked the idea of being able to mark your seat and still use the coaster.

If I were you, I'd definitely consider using coasters from the brewery as escort cards - it'd be really cute!
