Hi all!
My FH and I are getting married in just a couple of weeks and wanted some feedback on our reception seating chart. Background: The ceremony & reception take place in the same room. Guests will be seated (or standing if they prefer) at their assigned tables during the ceremony.
Our seating chart is a shelf with seed packets & 2" pots labeled with the guest name & table #. We aren't doing assigned seating, just tables, because it's buffet style and that's easier for us and our guests!
The wedding party is made up of 9 people; 3 children. We want them seated with their families during dinner so they are split into two tables next to our sweetheart table, totaling 13 people. The SOs who are not in the party will be arriving early to the venue to help set up center pieces and the seating chart and all of that.
Do we include them on the seating chart shelf? Or should we just put their 'seed assignments' on the tables themselves since they know where they will be sitting?
I know this seems trivial, but we're trying to find the best way to organize the shelves since each shelf holds a different number of 2" pots.
