Seating chart

Amanda, on July 30, 2019 at 3:45 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 9
This is what I plan on doing for our seating chart. We will have assigned tables. Do you think I should make a separate card for each guest or one card per couple? Also should arrange them by table or in alphabetical order? Thanks!

We made one for each person so they could claim their seats. Alphabetical is also soooo much easier to find than having to pause and scour through to find which table.

I would do one per guest and in alphabetical order. Guests will find their own names in alphabetical order much quicker than searching through each table number.

Alphabetical order for each individual. That way they don't have to spend 4 or 5 minutes looking for a name like Anderson because they're at table 18. If it was by alphabet they'd know in a few seconds.

Definitely do alphabetical. We did one per guest because it had their meal choice on it but if you don’t need the meal choice one per couple is fine.

Usually it's one card per person. I have seen alphabetical per table at most weddings I have been to. It's still easy to find your name. I always figure I am S, so I look towards the bottom of each table list. I think this works easier for blended families who aren't married yet. And couples in general. Once one person finds it then they both know they are going to that table.
