Ooo this is a good idea! I may have to do this so I don't drive myself crazy closer to our date. Smiley smile

    Yay!!

We're definitely doing table assignments. The exact seat won't be assigned but the table will be. We invited 246 people..so we want everyone to be able to sit somewhere they're comfortable and know people..without having to scramble to find and save seats.

Im not doing a seating chart for my guests. Im having 100 to 125 people. I just feel that my guests should be able to sit where ever they like.

I say yes to a seating chart 😉 it’s just a lot more organized and saves time since they already know where to go in my opinion

I'm saying nay. I thought about it but I don't want to stress over seating adults, also our people will change their cards around to sit with whom they want, I myself have seen them do this at past family members weddings. For me it will be more stress added to an already stressful event

I am for yes. If you care so much that you are providing dinner and drinks, you should care about their comfort at dinner. Having to scrounge for a seat, get it up to dance, and find chair gone, is not fun. If people change cards, it is rude, but at least they have a seat.

Not providing assigned tables does NOT mean that guests to sit where they like. It means they sit where they sit where they found a seat. Families may get separated.

I am team yay! We will be assigning tables and letting people pick their seats. That way it is not too specific, but makes people feel special and thought of! Smiley smile

I've been to weddings without and always felt awkward trying to choose where to sit. It's all about preference though and how your guests are! We will have lots of different families and dynamics so we decided assigning tables is best. Good luck!

Depending on the amount of guests you are having, a seating chart should be in place. If you have a larger guest count, you will need to have extra seating for those people who don't know where to sit at all.
