Seating chart

Daiana, on August 23, 2019 at 7:22 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 16
I’m trying to figure out how to make seating chart on a budget and for it to look nice. What are some ideas I can do and what have you brides done?

This was so easy to make and you can find frames like this almost anywhere. My flowers fell off on the corner before the picture but you can dress it up with lots of things.

You can buy a template from Etsy for less than $5, then have it printed at Staples or Vistaprint on foam board.

Other wise if you have Microsoft word or Excel and type in wedding in the templates it will give you a bunch of wedding planning stuff for free, also Shutterfly has cheap table name markers.

I bought cute blank tent cards with gold polka dots, folded, and hand wrote names and table numbers with a gold felt tip marker. Just set them up in alphabetical order on a table.

Plexiglass + Chalk Paint + a little bit of patience... and this is what we came up with. It’s not perfect but it serves its purpose. Then we printed names on vellum paper and wax stamped them for the seating arrangements at the table. Hope this helps Smiley smile

I downloaded a template for placecards for $5 on etsy (it matches my theme). I bought card stock at hobby lobby for $6 for 13 sheets. I plan to have the names already in everyone spot and just print out on card stock the seating chart and put it in a frame.

I bought Avery cardstock on Amazon for $12. Avery has free templates, and I printed the escort cards at home.

I found this gold mirror at a thrift store for $5 and I have a silhouette cameo so I’m going to add the seating chart with vinyl. The mirror has a broken piece at the top but I plan to hang greenery on it to cover it up. The vinyl I already have but should cost more than $5 and I can get garland at hobby lobby for around $10 so all in all shouldn’t cost more than $20.
