Seating Chart?

We are having around 150 people at our wedding. We bought picture frames (2 sets of 12 frames put together) to put our seating chart on. We were going to put Table X and then list names under each one. Will it be too difficult for people to find their name? Do we need to do something in alphabetical order too? Or just do alphabetical on the frames instead of by table? Thanks!

    I would do alphabetical order instead of table number. It makes it a lot easier for people to find their names.

    It's definitely easier to find your name in alphabetical order, but I think it looks better when it's listed by table.
    Sorry, that's not very helpful. I'm curious about what other people have to say, though, because I'm in the same situation.

    I would definitely do alpha order by guests' last name. Especially with each table list being in a separate frame, it's going to take a while and be fairly congested as guests are trying to find their name on what's basically a set of random lists. I would just do one alpha list, having a second listing by table is redundant and people might be confused about looking in two different places. Once I find my name on an alphabetical list, I have no need to look for it again on table # list.

    At a few weddings I have attended, there was a larger sign at the door with a “map” and a silly or special name for each table and everyone’s name was on that. There were also framed lists on the tables which helped make it much easier!

    I always prefer alphabetical for this because it’s a lot easier but a lot of weddings do the seating chart that way too as you described
