At first, I thought a seating chart would be silly. Our wedding will be about 100 people and I'd like for people to get to choose who they sit with. But now I'm wondering if we should just do an entire seating chart. What do you guys think? Also, how did you organize your seating chart if you did one? Did you try to mix and match relatives/coworkers/friends (with their own dates of course)? Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

With how big your list is I would deffinetly do assigned. Microsoft word and Excel both have spreadsheets to help with this

I highly recommend having one. People actually like being directed at weddings and knowing were to sit instead of figuring out on their own specially those that don’t know many people. I did if by relations. I had a family table for him, one for me, one for my friends, one for his and last one family friends. I had a small wedding so I was lucky with that but I find it best to group people like that.

We only had 50 or so guests and had assigned tables. It was nice to be sure everybody could sit with people they know and some larger groups could stay as a group.
