Seating Chart diy

I am not using a chart. However, keep in mind that if you are having one created for you, you can't make last minute changes unless it's erasable (chalk).

I'm going to get pretty card stock for each table and just print the names of guests in a list for each one. I will put them on a bulletin board on an easel. Maybe a sign that says "please find your seat" at the top. It won't be alphabetical order like you said... They will just have to scan through each list. My guest list is pretty small though so. I don't think it'll be an issue.

I definetly agree with the alphabetical order. I'm in a toss up between using card stock and a bulletin board or using the party favor as a seating card.

Someone posted a seating board on here a couple weeks ago that was made of different picture frames glued together or mounted on a board. Each frame had cardstock with the different tables on it. I am copying that.

I purchased a template on Etsy and had it printed at Staples.

I used a cricut and the calligraphy pen to write on cardstock.

I ordered it on Etsy. Printed, mounted and shipped. Loved it.

Did anyone use a photo as the background of seating chart? How far in advance to have shipped from Etsy?

I did the exact same thing & it worked perfectly.

ETA: Created the list on Excel, DH tweaked it on Photoshop & sent the file to a local print shop. Got a basic frame, easel & voila!
