Seating Chart by Tables

Lisa, on February 25, 2020 at 11:37 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
I'm doing a seating chart by tables. What is the best way to list all of the guests? Do I need to do it in alphabetical order or since it is by table does it matter how they are listed?

Alphabetical is the easiest and fastest way for guests to find their seats.

I personally prefer alphabetical if there’s a lot of guests

Alphabetic is definitely the way to go, and I would highly suggest doing it by last name, so families' escort cards/names are in the same place Smiley smile

Definitely alphabetically, otherwise people will be searching a long time for their name and it will create a bottleneck

Agree, do it alpha-order by last name. By tables means as a guest I have to read through every table until I find my name.

I did mine by table as well but put names in alphabetical order on each just to simplify. I do only have 70 people though so I don't have to worry too much about people taking forever to find their name.
