Sealing The Bouquet 1
Hi Wedding Wire Friends...How is everyone?...For those planning please do not get discourage because of the current coronavirus pandemic...More than anything it is just the best time as any to push forward innovative ideas for wedding and anniversary celebrations...It is what weddings and the like are about you not just working tediously hard to make the day perfect..
You are doing this because you are expessing YOU a moment of time that doesnt come often so every tuck, slide, push, twist, turn you do so diligently to show guests attending what expertise you really have AND proof to yourself "I CAN DO IT"...After a wondetful talk with my husband today made me cry and I dont do it often he stated "even with all the craziness getting everything done packed to go(we had a destination wedding and Im highly detailed) the traditional separation I woukd do it again no questions asked"...So with that yeah planning for 1st official anniversary underway(ee married Feb 29th)...Had to express that....Now onto tbe question. And cool 1st app Im using on my new phone...guess With the non stop wedding planmi g, regular family catching up and now return to school downliading photo editing apps to work on tbe go anticipate the poor phone couldnt take anymore...Anyway picture attached is my bouquet...I never dried flowers before I just remembered one thing over the years is to hang them upside down to dry...which I rhink reason is because the petals dont fall off...now to know the official science of it well I cant help with that for another year I have science as a major study...When I put the bouquet in a vacuum seal bag should I put some type of bug deterrent in with it to help bugs that may develop over time...or since its vacuum sealed no bugs hatch since no air

No need to put any bug deterrent in the bag. They will not have any interest in it. I have seen a lot of people have there’s incased in resin or epoxy so it’s forever in the same position. I also loved the idea of cutting of the heads and putting them in a shadow box with you and your new hubby!!

Hi Aretha! Here are two other recent discussions you can check out from brides who are drying their wedding flowers - hopefully you'll be able to get some helpful tips from them!
