Scam...?!

Kim, on September 9, 2019 at 12:40 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
Has anyone received similar emails? At first I was like “oh cool” but that quickly turned into “hey wait!🤔”

I googled the number in the email, of course nothing but possible scam came up. There’s no company name on the email and when I googled “VIP pampering David’s Bridal” other forums of somewhat related emails came up!

annoyed 🙄 lol

This sounds like a typical Mary Kay party, which is always free, but they do try to sell you their products. I don't think it's a scam.

Yeah I think it’s a Mary Kay party. They just show you products and you apply them yourself because they aren’t allowed to actually apply things.

Gotcha, I’m familiar with MK, and not interested. For a second I thought I had a good surprise for my girls! Lol

I got this email too. I was super excited! My email contained a phone number that said "text or call to learn more".. I texted and the lady immediately asked when a good time to call was as it was "too much to text." I was actually put off by it, because they offered to text and that was the method I chose to use.. needless to say I did not call them as they were only available to speak during work hours so I am unsure if it was legit or not.

Mary Kay! Anytime you win anything wedding related-it’s an attempt to get you to purchase over-priced crap. So far, I’ve won a cruise, a makeover and boudoir photos. All scams!

I had received an email like that too, but I ignored it. Whether it was real or not, I was not interested in doing a Mary kay thing.
