Scam or a really good deal

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Especially if you can't find any reviews. Better safe than sorry.

I would probably meet them in person to discuss their prices before I gave them any information.

They could just be starting out, which would explain the low pricing and no reviews. That being said, they might not have much experience or previous work for you to look at (not sure what type of vendor you're referring to).

If they’re just starting out it could be a really good deal, just a little riskier because you can’t look at references and they might not have a portfolio (assuming that’s applicable). I’d meet with them and feel it out, maybe they’ll put your mind at ease. In any case, ask about internet absence and get a contract.

That's hard. It could be real and yet it could be a scam also. I don't know that I'd risk it seeing as they don't have any reviews yet

We only booked vendors with TONS of good reviews on yelp, google, wedding wire & the knot. The only one that didn't was our officiant, we found him on thumbtack. He was a pastor and didn't do a ton of weddings, and wasn't very flashy with a website because this wasn't his full time job. He had 30+ reviews and pictures on thumbtack though, and his information was on the church's website.
