Saying yes to a dress

Hello everyone! So today I went ahead and said yes to the dress! I went home not as excited as one should be when saying yes to THE dress... there was another dress that I essentialy fell in love with and envisioned myself in. But then I found this dress ( Me on the Left with the belt) and after comparing the two dresses, i liked the bodice on this one MUCH more. BUT, I did not get the feeling I got with the first dress even though this one is much better than the first. .. im adding more "puff" to the bottom which is exactly what I wanted and also adding small shoulder sleeves. BUT I am not convinced 100% because I want more sparkle/blink like the pinterest photo on the right with flash. Bur for some reason i am beating myself up because of the feeling I had with the first dress and not with this one . Any tips and suggesting on what I could do or should do. How can I add more bling to my dress or where can I send it to get fixed ? Or if I should cancel that dress order and keep searching ?Saying yes to a dress 1

    Would you be able to ask whoever is tailoring the dress if they could add some beading? That’s what they do at the bridal shop I go to. Otherwise I think you look beautiful!

    Thank you :🥺 ! Its hard because I'm plus size, and not many dresses are flattering. But this one made me feel great. I just wish I could add a little extra to it and add more beading and make it perfect. Im bringing myself down alot by this. So im really confused and I don't knkw what to do. I got this dress at davids bridal, I'm not sure if it's something they do. But I will definitely ask. Thank you ❤

    When the dress fits better, you’ll love it. And from one plus girl to the other, I would wear the belt a tad higher. I think you’ll like it. Then add bling -necklace, earrings, veil, etc and you’ll be rocking it!

    Yes absolutely! This was the only photo my sister got of me in the dress. I was getting ready to walk back into the room. I had already removed the clips from the back so I look so squared and the belt was falling lol. But yes I know exactly what you mean and I feel like once I get the dress and I try it on again in white. I'll be able to see a difference and imagine better. But for now I just want to be able to find something exactly like what I chose but with more bling. But thank you SO much

    The dress is beautiful. I would look into belts and maybe Adding jewelled straps? Adding Hand beading could get expensive but accessories could do the trick! You can also get some pretty sparkly veils 😊

    I think it looks great on you! If all that is bothering you is the lack of sparkle talk with the seamstress about adding some. They can do that and make this dress exactly as you envision it to be!

    You could ask someone to help you attach and sew on gem stones similar to the inspo pic

    My dress is very similar to that one. I loved it when I bought it. Not so much when I picked it up to bring it home. I went for my fitting last week and what the seamstress was able to do with some pins and make that dress fit my body...I saw myself in the mirror and I fell in love with dress all over again. My jewelry came today. I purchased a necklace and earring set that is similar to the belt to add a little more bling. You will love it when it is fitted just for you!
