Saxophonist or any instrumental music during the ceremony

Ti'Anna, on January 20, 2020 at 7:46 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
Hey fellow brides
Are any of you guys have a saxophonist or violinist playing during your ceremony or anytime during the reception?

If so what are they playing? I’m thinking of having my cousin play the saxophone but can’t pick a song.

My “College kids” (Cousins and MoHs kids) played and sang “Thinking out Loud” for our first dance.

I really wanted a saxophonist to play prelude music as guests are arriving, for our parents entry, for FH entry, during our unity ceremony and for cocktail hour. My idea was to have him play normal love songs as instrumentals. I had a local musician in mind, but then we decided to do a domestic destination wedding in Vegas. So, I might pass on the idea and just have the dj play sax instrumentals instead.

We had a classical guitarist for our ceremony. He played Canon in D for the processional and Here Comes the Sun following the ceremony. Both would work for a violinist, I'm not too sure about saxophone.
I actually went to YouTube and typed in the song and instrument to see how certain songs would sound. That helped me a lot.
