I am planning on sending out Save the Dates here in a few months, but what information goes on there? I obviously know to put when it is and the location of the wedding. Should I put our Wedding Website? I just don't want to overload it or put unnecessary things on it! Any help would be great!

    Yep, I agree with Caytlyn. Names, date, and the city and state the wedding is in. The website isn't strictly necessary, but your guests will definitely appreciate it (especially anyone who has to travel). We're putting our website on our save the date for sure.

    Names, city, date and if you have a website ready to go, it's super helpful. Not necessary but helpful! From our experience, putting the website on the save the date saved us from being asked the same questions over and over and over. Everyone kind of answered their own questions by going to our website. Saved our stress lol

    We put date, location, wedding website and "formal invitation to follow" Smiley smile


    I think the only absolutes you need are date and location, but if you want people to see your wedding website then it helps to put it on there!

    We just put our names, the date, and the city/state.
