Save the Dates

Those look great! STDs usually go out 6-8 months before the wedding.

I am also June 2020. We are sending out STDs in August 2019 (lots of OOT guests) and then sending out invitations in February 2020. Its really up to you but I wouldn't send them out until at least June.

We have many out of town guests and sent ours about 8 months out!

I am getting married this June and I sent our STD's in September 2018.

I am getting married April 2020 and I am send my STD in July.

I plan to send mine out 8 & 1/2 months out.
I have super busy fall seasons, so doing it before things get crazy is the best idea for me.

I'd just say be sure of your guest list when you send them out. Because everyone who gets a save the date should get an invite. So you dont want to send 400 out, and then decide you want a 50 person guest list. 😊

We sent ours 10 months out, but we had a ton of out of state guests so that was earlier than traditionally. I think anytime 6-12 months out!

Beautiful cards! For our local reception, we sent them almost a year in advance because it was in June which can be a big month for family vacations.

I'm getting married February 2020, I'm sending mine out at the end of July.

My wedding is Sept 22, 2019 and we sent out STD's in February 2019. 6-8 months is the usual time frame. Your STD's are very pretty!!

I sent mine out 6 months before the wedding and I am sending my invitations in July which is 2 months from the wedding.

You know we just changed our date to June. Originally it was 04/18/2020 my grandfathers bday but then my fh made a good point about each year on our anniversary it wont be the summer time when the kids are out of school and for our parents to be there to babysit if we may need them... So it worked out to change to my grandparents anniversary date from them been married for 65 years before my grandmother passed away in 2013.

One of my friends got married a couple years ago and regretted sending out so many save the dates, but she just knew we would make fun of her for "pulling a Stacey".

We sent ours 10 months out because we were planning a destination wedding and had a "no kid" rule, for people to find sitters. Otherwise, 6-8 is perfectly fine!

When ever you want to or within 9 months to a year before the date or now its up to you when you want to send them out
