I believe it’s 6-8 months in advance. I sent ours for our June 19, 2020 wedding out right after Thanksgiving. We have a decent number of people coming from out of town, so they appreciated the heads up when looking for flights.

We sent ours for July wedding in December as Christmas/Save the Date cards. I agree with Rebecca, 6-8 months.

My wedding is 6/20/20. I am sending out my Save the dates this weekend. I wanted to wait until after the holidays so they weren’t mixed in with all the Christmas cards and such.

Hello wedding twin! We already sent out our STDs because we have quite a few on our guest list that live out of state. Considering that you are officially now under the 6 months mark, I would go ahead a day send them.

We sent ours out 10 months in advance. It's typically 6-12 months out.

6-8 months before the wedding is the typical time frame. 10 months for a destination wedding. We sent ours out 6 months before.

June 6, 2020 here! I’m sending my save the dates out this weekend. I had them ready beginning of December but I wanted to wait because I didn’t want them to be mixed in with holiday cards.

Our Wedding is 06/20/2020 and we sent ours out this week. Since most of our guests are located within CA and there are only a handful who live out of State.
